For Italo Calvino, one of the best known and appreciated Italian authors in the world, the international success of his “American Lessons” was the origin of a series of celebrations on the eve of the third millennium in the cities where he was most well known: Paris, New York, and Sao Paulo. We designed the logo for the events, portraying the shape of the eye seen through the image of an inkwell, crowned by a bracket placed horizontally.
